The Labor Council for Latin American Advancement (LCLAA) and the Benito Juarez Foundation called for a press conference and rally for immigrants’ rights.
On Tuesday, January 14, 2025, around 50 immigrant rights activists gathered at the Matsui Federal Building in Sacramento, California. There were speakers from several organizations and civil rights and immigration attorneys. Trump is expected to launch his campaign to round up and deport immigrants and people are organizing in solidarity with the immigrants, America’s scapegoats.
