Peace & Freedom Party’s co-sponsored Suds, Snacks & Socialism monthly forum series continues in online form via Zoom meeting on Saturday, March 5, to discuss How Socialist Women would run California.
PFP is thrilled to be celebrating International Women’s Day early with this forum presentation featuring three women running on the Left Unity Slate in the June 7 California primary election:
- Meghann Adams, Peace & Freedom Party candidate for State Treasurer
- Laura Wells, Green Party candidate for State Controller
- Nathalie Hrizi, Peace & Freedom Party candidate for Insurance Commissioner
Join them as they share their ideas about how to ensure healthcare, housing, education and our planet’s future instead of profits for the rich and their corporations.
The Left Unity Slate is a cooperative effort by the California Green Party and the Peace and Freedom Party to offer a clear choice to voters as an alternative to the two capitalist parties. You can find out more at the official sites of the Peace & Freedom Party and the California Green Party.
The program will start promptly at 2:30pm PT and is expected to wrap up by 4:30pm. To join the forum, click here or write
This forum is co-sponsored by the Oakland Greens, the Alameda County Peace and Freedom Party and Bay Area System Change Not Climate Change. The forum is part of our ongoing Socialist Forum Series on the first Saturday of every month. Our purpose is informed political discussion, and the views expressed are those of the speakers only, not official positions of the Peace & Freedom Party or our fellow co-sponsors.
