
Although the Green Party and the Peace and Freedom Party have each endorsed their own candidate for Governor of California in the 2026 primary election, both parties have endorsed the same candidates for the other seven statewide offices. Those candidates met on November 30th 2025 to form the 2026 Left Unity Slate. Each candidate endorses all the others, and practical cooperation is planned in circulating petitions and campaigning.
These are the Left Unity Slate candidates, in the order the offices appear on the California ballot:

Alice Stek is a physician, an advocate for health care for all, and a university instructor. She lives in Los Angeles County.

Gary Blenner of Sacramento County is a political science teacher and progressive activist.

Meghann Adams is a school bus driver, a union activist and leader, and a political activist in San Francisco.
Glenn Turner for Treasurer: https://leftunityslate.org/glenn-turner

Glenn Turner is a community activist and recently-retired retail shop owner in Alameda County.
Marjorie Mikels for Attorney General: https://leftunityslate.org/marjorie-mikels

Marjorie Mikels is an attorney who has practiced in California and before the US Supreme Courty. An activist wherever she has lived (including Los Angeles and San Francisco), she now lives in Alameda County.

Lalo Vargas is a teacher and former firefighter who has been active in pushing for justice for those affected by the 2024 fires in Los Angeles County, where he lives.
Frank Lara for State Superintendent of Public Instruction: https://www.frank4caschools.com/

Frank Lara, born in Calexico, is a teacher, union activist, and leader who lives in San Mateo County.
The Peace and Freedom Party has endorsed Ramsey Robinson for Governor, and the Green Party has endorsed Butch Ware. They are not part of the Left Unity Slate, but both parties endorse the entire Left Unity Slate for the other statewide offices.
