This coming Tuesday, February 1, the International Workers Action to Free Anti-Racist Political Prisoners webinar on Mumia Abu-Jamal’s continued unjust incarceration and the similar fates handed to other fighters in the anti-racist anti-imperialist cause.

The webinar was initiated by the Labor Action Committee to Free Mumia Abu-Jamal and the Black Panther Party Commemoration Committee and is endorsed by the Peace and Freedom Party along with dozens of other organizations.

The call to action for the webinar runs “For International Workers' Action – Free Mumia Abu-Jamal and All Anti-Racist and Anti-Imperialist Freedom Fighters!” In the words of the organizers:

Mumia was falsely convicted and sentenced to death on July 3, 1982. He is innocent and was framed by Philadelphia Police and prosecution. Since the age of 14, as a spokesman for the Black Panther Party, Mumia was targeted by the FBI/COINTELPRO program. Sundiata Acoli, Ruchell Magee, Jamil Abdulla Al-Amin, Leonard Peltier, Dr. Mutulu Shakur, Julian Assange, Rev. Joy Powell and many other freedom fighters, victims of the U.S. Federal government (including victims of the FBI/COINTELPRO program) and/or local police/district attorneys' judicial lynching, remain in prison (many for decades) and must be free now!

To attend the International Workers’ Action – Free Mumia Abu-Jamal and All Anti-Racist and Anti-Imperialist Freedom Fighters webinar on Zoom, click here to register. The event will begin on February 1 at 1pm PT/4pm ET/9pm GMT.

In California, voter registration is very important to political parties. The very existence of a political party as “ballot-qualified” is determined by the number of votes its statewide candidates receive or by the number of voters registered with the party. As the only feminist socialist political party on the California ballot, it is imperative that the Peace and Freedom Party continues as a qualified party.

Quite simply, the Peace and Freedom Party will not be able to provide Californians with candidates that will represent us unless we register and vote Peace and Freedom.

For all the information you need on registering to vote, visit the California Secretary of State's homepage at SOS.Ca.gov or just click here.

Thank you for registering Peace and freedom Party, and thank you for your vote!
